danyang, outdoor portrait

danyang works across photography, ceramics, and short video observations. Her work is rooted in outdoor climbing landscapes—investigating rock surfaces, protection, ropes as graphic lines, and the temporary interpretations humans impose on natural spaces.

Her photographic practice asks when rock becomes a route, and for how long. Alongside photography, she creates small ceramic objects that explore tactile form and weight, and documents fleeting visual encounters collected while traveling.
